AFMC MBBS Entrance Exam 2010
Applications are invited for admission to the MBBS course at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, commencing from 02 Aug 2010
ELIGIBILITY:
Applicants must have passed the XII standard/pre-professional/ premedical examination or equivalent examination of statutory Indian University/Board or any other recognized Board/University as a regular student in all the subjects opted for in first attempt with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing not less than 60% of aggregate marks in the three science subjects taken together, not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English.
They must have also passed an examination in Mathematics at least of the matriculation standard. A graduate of B.Sc. examination with not less than two of the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany or Zoology) and also must have passed the earlier qualifying examination i.e. XII standard/Pre professional (Med) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and obtained marks as stated above.

Application Form Deadlines
The Application form and Prospectus will be distributed from 10 am on 07.12.2009 to 06.01.2010 through selected branches of Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State.

Application Forms will not be available by post or sold from the office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.
Last date and time for receipt of filled in Application Forms :
The filled in Application Form along with the OMR DATA SHEET and other relevant documents, to be submitted with the Application Form, are to be sent in the printed envelope bearing the address of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations supplied along with the application form, so as to reach him before 5 p.m. on 06.01.2010 (Wednesday), by Hand Delivery/Registered Post/Speed Post. Completed Applications will be received in the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations on holidays also.

Admission notice for MBBS/BDS/BAMS/B.Pharm courses-2010
The Banaras Hindu University will hold All India Competitive written test for admission to MBBS course (84 seats) in two stages PMT-2010 screening and PMT-2010 main, and for BDS (38 seats), BAMS (78 seats) and B.Pharm (33 seats) courses in one stage PMT-2010 screening.
PMT-2010 screening shall be held on Wednesday, the 12th May 2010 at Varanasi, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad centres, to screen candidates for eligibility to appear in PMT-2010 main examination for MBBS course which will be held on Sunday, the 13th June 2010 at Varanasi centre only.
For BDS/BAMS/B.Pharm courses, candidates will be selected on the basis of their merit in the PMT-2010 screening only.
Eligibility
Qualification: Passed intermediate, 10+2 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together,
- For MBBS/BDS/BAMS – a minimum of 50% for General, OBC and respective PC candidate and 40% aggregate marks for SC/ST and respective PC candidates,
- For B.Pharm – a minimum of 60% marks for General, OBC and respective PC candidates and 55% aggregate marks for SC/ST and respective PC candidates.
Candidates appearing in qualifying examination may also apply.

Last date for sale of application form from Bank of Baroda branches: Monday, 01.03.2010
Last date of requisition for PMT form by post is Friday, the 19th February 2010.
In case forms are not available at Bank of Baroda branches, the same can be obtained by post from Director’s office up to 19th February, 2010
Last date for submission of completed application form: Application form duly completed must be sent through
registered post so as to reach The Director (PMT cell), Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu university, Varanasi-221005 latest by Tuesday, the 09th March 2010 till 05.00 p.m.
Application forms received after the last date shall not be accepted. Foreign nationals are not required to appear in the PMT examination for MBBS/BAMS course. They may seek admission through the Ministry of external affairs, govt. of India, New Delhi, as per the rules laid down for the purpose and their nomination must reach by Thursday, the 15th July 2010.

Applications are invited on prescribed form for admission to MBBS course starting from 1st July 2010. The candidates shall be selected as per their merit in the Entrance Examination to be held on 18th April 2010 at
Nagpur, Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
The Prospectus and form will be available from 1st December 2009.
The last date of receipt of filled up application with entrance examination fee of Rs. 1500/- is 26th February, 2010 and with an additional late fee of Rs. 100/- is 12th March, 2010
Eligibility: The candidate must attain 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The candidate must have passed 12th standard examination under 10+2 system of Maharashtra state higher secondary education board or equivalent examination of any recognized board of any Indian university with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually in each subject in one and the same attempt. The candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks (40% in the case of SC/ST/VJ/NT/OBC) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.The admission is subject to any direction given by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Hon’ble High court of Bombay Bench, Nagpur, Maharastra university of Health Sciences, Nashik and the Medical Council of India.
