Mumbai: Students who appeared for the common entrance test (CAT) for admissions into the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) and are not satisfied with their marks, they can go for re-check of their scores.
Prometric, the American firm which had organised the computer-based CAT for IIMs has reportedly agreed to re-evaluate the scores of disstatisfied students.
Prometric India managing director Soumitra Roy has claimed that the entire process by which individual scores were calculated has been made public. "We have maintained transparency and are absolutely confident that the scores and rankings are accurate. owever, if students feel that there has been a mistake, they can request a re-check of their scores,” Roy said.
Interested students can write to the customer care email id that they have been given, for a re-check. However, the students will not be given raw scores.
